WHAT TO BRING:

YW CAMP EQUIPMENT LIST 

Please label all items 

When choosing clothes remember camp can get VERY cold at night,  

hot in the day and sometimes it rains. Please pack accordingly! 


BASIC CLOTHES 

• long pants are required on hikes 

• shorts must be longer length (past fingertips when held at sides)  

shorts may not be worn on hikes 

• shirts - long or short sleeved (NO sleeveless or tank tops) 

• socks & underwear - have adequate changes (at least one per day) 

• socks for hikes should be white or hiking socks that covers the  

ankles and come above the boot or shoe top. This is so we can  

see and prevent ticks, stickers, blisters or foot problems 

• warm jacket and or sweatshirt 

• warm pajamas, thermal underwear or sweats (to sleep in) 

• flip flops - for showers only 


SHOES

• Shoes for in camp - sturdy and will enclose entire foot 

• 2nd, 3rd & 4th year girls hi-top sturdy boot for hiking 


SLEEPING GEAR 

• warm sleeping bag 

• extra blanket (to insulate bag) OR EXTRA SLEEPING BAG - IT GET'S COLD AT NIGHT!

• pillow 

• sleeping pad, mat or air matress  


SUGGESTED TOILET ACCESSORIES 

• dirty clothes bag (if using plastic bag it must be repacked in suitcase to go home so isn't accidentally thrown away)  â€¢ toothpaste & toothbrush • 2 bath towels • chap stick • sanitary napkins/tampons • small first aid kit • deodorant • hairbrush, comb, hair bands, rubber bands etc • suncreen • hand lotion • soap with soap container (box or baggie) • shampoo/conditioner • kleenex • safety pins • insect repellent 


ADDITIONAL GEAR 

• Beanie or head covering to sleep in for cold nights • scriptures, journal, & pen • flashlight & extra batteries • water bottle â€¢ hat, bandana or visor • rain poncho • WHISTLE â€¢ WATCH â€¢ Cell phones may only be used for picture taking (no cell phone service for young women, only for emergency contact) 


FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD YEAR GIRLS - daypack for hike - just to carry water and food.  FOURTH YEAR GIRLS - a detailed list is below. 


PLEASE DO NOT USE THE FOLLOWING AT CAMP 

• cell phones (there is no cell service at Clark Fork, they may be used for taking pictures)

• electronic devices - Ipods, MP3 players etc 

• Do not drive your own car to camp. All YW must ride with a parent or leader to camp

NO FOOD, DRINK, SNACKS, GUM OR CANDY ALLOWED IN CAMP SITES 

 We have a snack every afternoon which includes goodies.
